Hi is this Junior? so it turns out that now when I call for Mrs Hastings her secretary Angela knows my name by heart without me telling her who it is, how odd! she must be psychic or I’m the only person who calls Mrs Hastings. She went from “what is your name sir?” to “is this Junior calling?” in no time.
Good job Angela!
Now you know those messages I leave you with my number and all for Mrs Hastings to call me back which you supposedly write down those are for Mrs Hastings so give it to her! Jesus!.
Anyway no word on the Jesus tile, the CSI unit at the Diocese of Brooklyn & Queens church must be having fun with it or Mrs hastings has it on eBay already, who knows.
So yesterday I received an envelope from St John’s Queens Hospital in the mail. It kinda startled me because I was like “mail from St Johns?..weird” so I quickly opened thinking it was maybe the Administrator writing to me about the Jesus Tile, but turns out it was a patient survey sent to me by none other than Annette Hastings! the Administrator who is holding my Jesus Tile hostage. They want me to fill it out and mail it back.
The survey asks stuff like how was my stay, how was the staff, how was I treated etc etc. Hmm, I wonder if I should fill it out with alot of negative stuff see what happens? hehe. Anyway, Annette Hastings needs to send me a package. Forget mails I want a large box with my Jesus Tile in it, that’s what she needs to mail me.
And talking about surveys, I’m adding this poll below to see what you guys think, should the hospital give me the tile or what? choose below.
So I called up the hospital administrator Annette Hastings today to see if the church was done “analyzing” the tile or had returned it and as you can guess, yep SHE WASN’T AVAILABLE!,
Angela, her secretary, keeps asking me for my name and number every time I call but I think she acts like she’s writing it down or throws it in the garbage, shame on you Angela, give her my messages!!!
I googled the term “jesus tile hospital” and I’m surprised all the blogs blogging my story even though most are bashing me it’s ok, nobody can force you to believe.
There are some unanswered questions I would like answered from the hospital.
Why did they block us from photographing them taking down the Jesus tile? what are they hiding?
Why did they put the Jesus tile in 2 different bags first a paper one then a plastic one?
Why the need to have 2 security guards stand at the door and lock it so nobody else see’s them taking down the Jesus tile?
Why did the church need to analyze the Jesus tile? is there some special CSI church we don’t know about? and why are they taking so long?
Why were they so generous when they wanted to take the Jesus tile but now that they have it god knows where, they ignore me?
Why didn’t they want any witnesses besides my family in the room?
Why was there a dirty tile (possibly moldy) in a hospital room where there’s patients recovering? (I honestly believe this is the real reason they are trying to cover up this whole thing, imagine what the health department would do!)
Why did they fix the leak but leave the dirty tile?
Why was the chaplain so interested in seeing the tile in person but was denied by the hospital administration?
Why did the chaplain call me up early in the morning to ask me if I could be a “witness” to talk to the bishop about the Jesus tile, I thought the church doesn’t believe in those things?
I’m no Sherlock Holmes but something smells fishy!
Still no word on the church or the tile, at this point I think people are right, do these people have an ebay account? maybe they want to sell it who knows.
Another thing I want to clear up the NY Post article says the stain is quarter-sized it’s not! the stain is about 3-4 inches wide maybe bigger.
I want to thank all the sites blogging about the tile I really appreciate it, I was told Regis and Kelly were talking about my Jesus tile and they said it looked like a ketchup stain or something like that, I did not watch the show so don’t quote me on that. For big stars like that to talk about something it must be interesting so I’m happy I’m on to something.
To anser some of the comments I’ve seen on other sites
No, I’m not crazy lol
No, I dont want the tile to put on ebay
No, I’m not doing this for publicity, I want the people from St Johns Hospital to keep their promise that’s all and plus when you’re really sick and ask Jesus to give you a sign and then you get it YOU DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT IT TAKEN AWAY!
I have been to numerous vigils (spell check) where thousands of people say they see the virgin mary crying, or an apparition of god or anything else that is holy, and you have handicapped and sick people there crying their eyes out praying to get better like god is standing infront of them in the flesh, that is deep man, I can’t explain the feeling you get, but it’s deep.
I called up Annette Hastings, the hospital administrator today and she told me that the church was busy this weekend with the whole pope visit and everything, she doubted they were able to analize the Jesus tile so she had no updates for me.
She said she will get back to me when she gets any news but I’m not going to hold my breath.
This website was started to showcase a ceiling tile I spotted in my room while hospitalized in St John’s Queens Hospital in Queens, New York which bares the image of Jesus Christ.
As of today April 20th, 2008, the tile is supposedly in the hands of the Dioscese of Brooklyn & Queens for “observation” according to St John’s Hospital administrator Annette Hastings which is responsible for taking away the tile along with St John’s hospital director Sheila Ward.
An article was published today as well in the NY Post on page 6 right next to the pope which I think is awesome. Read the article here BEHOLD THE WATER STAIN (there is a typo in the article it should read room 322 not room 232).
When the tile was taken down by Mrs Sheila Ward on April 10th, she told me she was going to secure the tile for me until I was released from the hospital, when I was finally released that story quickly changed. I was told somebody else now had the tile and I would have to handle it with them. That person is Annette Hastings St Johns Hospital administrator.
I figured I would be getting the run around and I was right. Calls go ignored, they are never there, they’re in a meeting etc etc.
All I want is the tile back. I know it’s hospital property but the tile would have been thrown out anyway since it has water stains on it so why not just give me it?. Is St John’s Hospital that careless that they have water damage on their ceilings and don’t even care to clean it up and replace it? beats me, but maybe the health department should take a look into that.
Don’t get me wrong the hospital itself is great, as well as the staff. The doctors, nurses, security and even the maintenance people, all are a great group of people I can’t complain of my stay there.
Now I ask you, what should I do?
keep fighting to get the tile back (which I intend on doing)
get legal advice on how to proceed with this thing
contact more media sources to help get the word out
I’d like to know, please email me your thoughts and advise to jesustile [at] gmail.com If you are from the media and would like to follow this story feel free to email me as well.
